Wheeling University is a varsity program located in Wheeling WV. The Cardinals compete in NCR D1 with crossover matches with D1A teams. Wheeling recently finished in the top 10 for XVs after a Rhino Rugby Bowl victory last month at Aveva Stadium in Houston. Back in May, the team won the Championship Plate at the CRC 7s May Madness in New Orleans. 10 Cardinals competed in the NCR All Star competition, scoring 72 of 127 total points for the Great Lakes Thunderbirds. Wheeling has very healthy athletic department and alumni support and offers partial athletics scholarships on top of academic aid.

We are the Rugby Club team for the University of Wisconsin Madison. We compete in the Big Ten Conference and play both 15's and 7's. To play, you must be enrolled as a student at UW-Madison.

The Wisconsin Rugby Club was founded in 1962 with a long history of growing the sport and investing in the foundation of American rugby. With DII National Championships in 1998 and 2012 and several Midwest Championships (including this past 2019 season), the club has been promoted to the Midwest Premiership for the 2021 season, competing at the highest possible level of amateur rugby in the country.

Fielding two teams (DI & DIII), the WRC is open to anyone who is interested in joining a club with a strong winning culture and passion for the sport. All skill levels and backgrounds are welcome, even if today is your first rugby experience.

Program Description:

Marian University announced the addition of Men's Varsity Rugby during the 2020-2021 collegiate season and is fully supported by the University and athletic department. The program was the 25th sport offered by Marian University. For the 2021 Fall Season (Marian’s first full season), Marian competed in the NCR D2 conference. Finishing the season as MCRC Conference Runner-Ups and #7 in the Nation. Going into the Fall 2022 season Marian University will be moving up to the D1 level. 

Marian is a professionally run program that offers High-Performance coaching as well as athletic scholarships and working to be one of the most sought-after rugby programs in the nation. The program is currently aggressively recruiting for new players of all skill levels in order to add to its varsity program offerings. Marian has a family rugby atmosphere within a premier private university education and a 99% post graduate employment rate.

UHSP Rugby is a full varsity program (yes, that means that we have scholarships available!) at the University of Health Science and Pharmacy in Saint Louis, MO. The program will compete in the Gateway Rugby Conference starting in Fall 2022. The program is headed up by Coach Lang, who has previously worked with Uganda Rugby, Crusaders, and Scottish Rugby and comes with nearly 15 years of coaching experience at Collegiate, Semi-Professional, Professional, and National Rugby.

The University offers 15 undergraduate degrees, 2 master’s degrees mainly in health sciences and related fields as well as doctorate degrees in Pharmacy. The campus has close ties with Washington University School of Medicine and is situated in the West End district of Saint Louis, MO. The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point’s Men’s and Women’s Rugby teams are both successful clubs at a great college. The Men’s Team, founded in 1976, plays in the NSCRO Small College division, and the Women’s Team, founded in 1993, plays in NCR Division 1. Both teams have won several conference championships and made national championship appearances in recent years. Alumni have gone on to play for Premiere Leagues and well-recognized clubs around the country. We are always looking for new members!

Platteville Men’s Rugby has been competing for over four decades, being established in 1977.  We are a division 2 team in the Great Midwest Rugby Conference under National Collegiate Rugby (NCR). Our competition includes Marquette, UW Whitewater and other regional clubs. Our club goal is to spread rugby through our campus, state and the country.  With this goal our club welcomes players with all experience and skill levels. Our premier event is an annual spring tournament that is in its 25th year. Mudfest 15s draws college and mens teams from multiple states.

The Drury Rugby programs were started in July of 2021 under the guidance of Men's coach, Bryan Bevel and ladies coach Katie Scott. The coaches each share a wealth of knowledge and years of experience leading rugby programs. The duo has been responsible for helping create and fielding 4 rugby sides in the Springfield Missouri area. Both coaches boast international experience and have a breadth of playing experience to bolster their coaching approaches. This program seeks to bring student-athletes that will lead and assist in the team's success allowing the program to grow for many years to come.

Silverbacks Elite Rugby offers year-round programs to supplement club & scholastic training environments. Our ambition is that between their school/club team and Silverbacks, our Pathway Athletes will have access to a training environment and resources akin to what same age-grade athletes have in Tier I rugby nations.

We are looking for players that want to be Golden Gophers! Gopher Rugby is a student lead competitive sport club. Our officers carry out the majority of the administrative tasks such as governance, logistics, and travel. Our staff focuses on the daily operations of the team on the field. We are an inclusive and growth mindset group of players and staff.

We play Division 1AA program that plays in the Heart of America Conference. We finished the season runners up in the conference championship and ranked 14th in the country. We play both XVs and Sevens.
