Wheeling University is a varsity program located in Wheeling WV. The Cardinals compete in NCR D1 with crossover matches with D1A teams. Wheeling recently finished in the top 10 for XVs after a Rhino Rugby Bowl victory last month at Aveva Stadium in Houston. Back in May, the team won the Championship Plate at the CRC 7s May Madness in New Orleans. 10 Cardinals competed in the NCR All Star competition, scoring 72 of 127 total points for the Great Lakes Thunderbirds. Wheeling has very healthy athletic department and alumni support and offers partial athletics scholarships on top of academic aid.

Davenport University announced the addition of Men's Rugby during the 2009-2010 collegiate season. The program was the 24th sport offered by Davenport University. Davenport University Competes in the CRAA's Mid South D1A Conference. During its tenure in D1 rugby Davenport has earned the opportunity to host the National Championship trophy on two separate occasions. Davenport is a professionally run program that offers High-Performance coaching as well as athletic scholarships making them one of the most sought-after rugby programs in the nation. The program is currently aggressively recruiting for new players of all skill levels in order to add to its varsity program offerings.

Our officers carry out the majority of the administrative tasks such as governance, logistics, and travel. Our staff focuses on the daily operations of the team on the field. We are an inclusive and growth mindset group of players and staff.
We play Division 1AA program that plays in the Heart of America Conference. We finished the season runners up in the conference championship and ranked 14th in the country. We play both XVs and Sevens.

The AMU men’s rugby team has a long tradition of success playing at the club level, including winning a Florida collegiate championship. Now, as a Varsity sport, AMU Men’s Rugby will benefit from new resources for coaching, training, travel, and kit.Varsity athletes at AMU are eligible for athletic scholarships.

The Wisconsin Rugby Club was founded in 1962 with a long history of growing the sport and investing in the foundation of American rugby. With DII National Championships in 1998 and 2012 and several Midwest Championships (including this past 2019 season), the club has been promoted to the Midwest Premiership for the 2021 season, competing at the highest possible level of amateur rugby in the country.
Fielding two teams (DI & DIII), the WRC is open to anyone who is interested in joining a club with a strong winning culture and passion for the sport. All skill levels and backgrounds are welcome, even if today is your first rugby experience.
