Managing your training, gameday, and post-game routines and schedules will help maximize that time. This session will focus on integrating all three phases of your week so that they compliment each other and showing coaches how to use that integration to focus players on individual development and the team on gameday strategies.

Over the last twenty years forward play in the loose has evolved from "ground and pound" to "dynamic running in the wide channel" and this evolution has required forwards to demonstrate upgraded athleticism, skill work, and game sense to compete at the highest level. This session will focus on how teams effectively deploy forwards in open space and integrating forwards with backs in wide play. Coaches will learn games and training techniques that help get their forwards comfortable in space so they can be effective and unlock new elements of your team's attack.

This knowledge aided in developing a 20 session summer school curriculum, that was successfully implemented in two different school districts and integrated rugby instruction into existing summer school phy. ed. courses. With the aid of Guy Hagen and MLR, Brian will be leading the effort to spread newly developed curriculum tools in Wisconsin. The course will highlight lessons learned in the effort to grow rugby scholastically.
